Un saludo Pd: Para los q las qerais leer por vosotros mismos forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=DevDiscussion&message.id=23051#M23051forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Announcements&message.id=3021#M3021La "enesima promesa" (asi llamo yo al anuncio del Smedley este...) forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=swggpdiscussion&message.id=487976&jump=true#M487976SHORT TRANSLATION 4 THE RAPIDES Hi fellow english-spoken wikans...If u want to read a full load of bullnuts, u have the Soe's newsletters here. Feel free to propose any kind of horrible death 4 Darth Torres Regards

SHORT TRANSLATION 4 THE RAPIDES
I'm lazy today, so I paste the full letter here...Besos
Where is the roadmap/vision for the game?
My producer letter was intended to introduce myself in my new role to the community and to mention a few high level goals that the SWG team is working towards in the coming year. It was not intended to be used to discuss our plans for the upcoming year. Clearly however people were expecting more. Can I share all of our plans for the year with you? Not yet, but I can at least share with you two of the features that we are planning for the next two publishes. In publish 28 we will be making some changes to armor. In publish 29 we are planning on introducing new Bounty Hunter enhancements. We will be discussing these changes in greater detail during the Stratics chat tomorrow night (Feb. 15, 2006) and we will be posting more information on our site about them later this week as well. When can you see a roadmap for the future? That will be the focus of next week’s Friday Feature (Feb 24, 2006) which will outline our live game plans for the next six months.
What is the ETA for Publish 27?
I would like to release Publish 27 to the live galaxies sometime this week. Why am I not committing to a date? Because I am standing by our commitment to only deliver high quality updates to the game. Though we are getting close to a version, there are still a few minor issues we are working to resolve. Once they have been addressed, then the publish will be released to the live game servers.
What are the plans for traders and entertainers?
We are actively working on concepts and designs for them, but we want to make sure we do them well – polished and balanced. We have lots of ideas. We get plenty of feedback from these forums. However, creating a feasible design that addresses the majority of player’s requests, within the constraints of our game systems takes time. You may have heard recently that we were actively working on entertainer changes. This is true. However, after reviewing them, they just didn't feel like they were delivering something that would meet the expectation levels of our players, so we are revisiting them.
What are you doing for the next expansion?
This is something I can't share yet. Part of running a business like this requires that we hold back some information to be revealed as the year goes on so that PR and marketing have something to do (just kidding!). This has always been the case with expansions and is certainly the case with this one. Will we be working on one? Yes. Expect to see more information about our expansion plans as we get closer to E3.
Have I been able to share all of the information you were asking for? No. There are limitations to the amount of information I can reveal at this time. Do I hear your request for more information? Absolutely, and I will be working to share more information with you going forward.
Remember, ultimately our goal is to deliver to you the best online Star Wars game experience that exceeds your expectations – and that is no easy task! We all want to have fun adventuring together with our friends in a Star Wars online universe. We appreciate your support and look forward to communicating often throughout the year.
May the Force be with you!

Personalmente, no me gusta nada.
Hello!
I wanted to share a look ahead at Publish 28 with you. We will be discussing these items further in the Stratics chat tonight, so come prepared with any questions you have about them.
Armor Enhancements
• We are removing armor certifications for all armor wearing classes. This means that any class that is able to wear armor will be able to use Battle, Assault, and Recon armor type, with the following exceptions:
- Mandalorian Armor will still be restricted to Master Bounty Hunters and Master Commandos.
- Jedi will continue to be restricted from wearing armor.
• All armor hindrances will be removed. There will no longer be a penalty for wearing armor.
Armor Loot Drops
• We will be adding more armor loot drops to the game. The power of the armor that can be looted will be proportional to the Combat Level of the MOB.
• These new armor loot drops will use a wide variety of stats and protections.
• We will be adding a much larger variety of clothing armor for all players through loot drops throughout the game, including Jedi exclusive clothing.
PvP Enhancements
• A command will be added that can be used from the tool bar that will allow players to declare from “Combatant” to “Special Forces” in the field. This will take 30 seconds to execute.
• If you are killed in PvP combat by another player, they will be rewarded one of your items chosen at random. This could be either an equipped item or an item in your inventory. No-drop, bio linked, and no-trade items will be exempt from this.
• After you are killed you will have the option of placing a bounty on your attacker. This will deduct the specified amount from your bank account or from your cash on-hand and add the bounty to your killer. Bounties placed on a player will be cumulative, so if multiple bounties are placed on a player, their overall bounty will increase. The bounty can then be claimed by a Bounty Hunter as described below.
Bounty Hunter System
• If the /bountyCheck command fails it will now clear its cooldown timer properly so that it can be used again immediately.
• Bounty Hunters will now be able to use the /bountyCheck command on other players. If the other player has a bounty on them, the Bounty Hunter will be notified of the bounty amount and will then have the option of attempting to claim the bounty. Claiming a bounty will flag both the Bounty Hunter and the target as PvP positive using the existing duel system. (Insuring one-on-one combat.) If the Bounty Hunter kills the target then they receive the bounty and it is cleared from the target. They will also receive the PvP item as described above.
Item Changes
• We will be removing the no-drop, no-trade, and bio-link items off a wide variety of items. These will be primarily quest reward items.
Entertainer Additions
• To allow entertainers the option of engaging in more of the content in the game, we have added combat abilities as part of the progression path. Entertainers will be able to advance through either combat or their normal activities. None of the existing entertainer abilities are being removed, though AI will no longer ignore entertainers.
In addition to these items, we will also working on key fixes and other regular updates that will be released between now and then.
Thanks. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

oh dear ..more patchimg up of problems created by NGE disguised as "exciting new content"...sigh... Some good things though..I have my BELOVED HEAVY WEAPONS again...El Butanero Rides Again! no more armour restrictions...well I was getting very tired of always wearing the same stuff and it will mean I can use all my old stuff thats been hanging on the wall since NGE. On the other hand it seems like more simplifying the game and making all classes the same... edited because i fell asleep typing and the cat typed the rest and hit ENTER

• All current existing abilities will be examined and polished as well.
Space PvP
• The existing PVP declaration space stations will be flagged as attackable by opposing PVP+ enemy faction members. These can be destroyed, and will respawn some period of time later. This will give players a chance to truly fight over and control a space zone.
• Player bounties will be enabled in space. Bounty Hunters will be able to hunt down and kill their targets in space as well as the ground.
PvP Decay (NOTE: Under investigation. Please give us some feedback.)
