Gracias Dialm for setting up a clan on GUILD WARS Is it named WIKAN?? I've never played Guild Wars so I'd be really grateful if those members who have could give some feedback about it, Dialm??? It is different in its pricing as you do NOT pay a monthly fee. Once you buy the game playing is FREE You only have to buy any EXPANSIONS (or CHAPTERS) that you want as you go along. Like Dungeons & Dragons Online the world is run along the lines of common areas where you meet up and form groups and the "play" areas where you go on missions etc. where the only inhabitants are the members of your group +/- any opposing players if you are PvPing. It seems to be very PvP oriented. Having never played that kind of format I dont know how it compares with a more traditional MMORPG = I may have been unfair in my comments elsewhere about D&D Online. Could anyone who has played this game please let us know what they think of it? Dialm? Asky? Anyone?I think I will probably buy this one whether or not we all do. The website is at www.guildwars.comBesos y Abrazos Vasdef [glow=red,2,300] (EL BUTANERO) [/glow]

Hi there, I am so sorry to disappoint you this time Vasdef, hehehe. but i have not play that game yet..only ones i have played are EQ.EQ2 n' SWG. As i have said before, i don't have the time i wish i had to play video games right now (. but i will keep reading the forums and who knows i might be end up with you " wikans " to wherever you go !! Now, the cool games that i have heard are good atm are: Guild wars ( suppose to be montly fee ), arnarchy online or something like that , wow ( but i do no like the graphics " they are too cartoonish i think, the characters are horrible looking cause the graphics ), EQ2 but i think it has a few new expansions already. I personally like Guild wars, love the graphics of the lotor and dnl game but i am not sure when exactly they are coming...so if i have to buy a game in order to entertain myself i will buy Guild wars. I do have EQ and EQ2 but like i said i am way behind cause i do no own the expansion they have, so that will be like an old game to me..... and the new games that are in development atm and that has an OPEN BeTa are : www.ferentus.com/main.php?p=betaregistration www.darkandlight.net/ www.guildwars.com/ lotro.turbine.com/ that are coming in 2006. These links should help you....

So far the games discussed have been mostly MEDIEVAL FANTASY -yes Werner Dark & Light is medieval too! How about THE MATRIX ONLINE? It is based on a great Sci-Fi series (although not as good as Star Wars obviously!!) and starts where the movies ended. When it was launched earlier this year some people loved it and some thought it needed a lot of work - there does seem to have been a lot of work done on it over the last few months. One good thing is that like SWG before the ENG you are not limited to one profession but can mix different skills to create a unique character. The BAD NEWS is ...it has been taken over by SOE....so what changes lie in store who knows - they are currently working on a Combat Upgrade 2.0 ...hmmm... More information can be found at thematrixonline.station.sony.com/index.vmwhat do you think people? Neo and Morpheus rather than Conan or Vasdef the Barbarian??Besos y Abrazos Vasdef [glow=red,2,300] EL BUTANERO [/glow]

;D Hi ASKY- I remember we discussed Guild Wars on the forum months ago and I thought you had tried it - sorry my mistake. There is definately NO MONTHLY FEE.ANARCHY ONLINE - I have an account there and still play from time to time. It is pretty original BUT its now a bit old and the graphics are awful The game is FREE ( no monthly subscription or initial cost - game is free download) BUT if you want the EXPANSIONS including slightly better graphics and most of the content then you DO NEED TO SUBSCRIBE and a monthly fee is neededIt does have some good ideas though Besos y Abrazos VASDEF [glow=red,2,300] EL BUTANERO[/glow]

;D A couple more MMORPG's people might want to think about: [glow=red,2,300]FERENTUS[/glow] This was mentioned in a recent post by Asky. Vesha and I started playing yesterday (I am Obmar on their Eastern Server if anyone is looking for me). The game is currently in Open Beta and is free to download and play. Simply register at their website, download their client and off you go... It is a typical Medieval Fantasy with good landscape etc graphics and average figure graphics. Customisation of the figure is limited (I think this is also true of D&L) but I think will improve by the final version. www.ferentus.comBesos y Abrazos VASDEF [glow=red,2,300] EL BUTANERO [/glow]

This is a really original MMORPG, set in Ancient Egypt you are free to acquire skills in any combination - you cant get further away from the idea of "Profession" and "Levels". Governments in the game are created by players as are major structures. You directly affect the future of the game right down to the making of laws. The players are a dedicated community and seem to have a close relationship with the game's creator and developer Andrew Tepper. The graphics arent the greatest in the world but this is a truly UNIQUE game. Vesha and I tried a free trial some time ago and liked it. The game is now on 14 DAY FREE TRIAL AND I PLAN TO TRY IT OUT AGAIN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE PLAYING SO WE CAN GET TOGETHER www.atitd.com/Besos y Abrazos VASDEF [glow=red,2,300] EL BUTANERO [/glow]
